My name is Rudette Sands, I lived and graduated from high school in Miami Florida. I began this journey with the development of kids in 1985. I had the pleasure of working with the Dade County Public School System. I was hired as a Para-Professional. While there I worked with two amazing teachers. My responsibilities and various duties allowed them to see something in me and encouraged me to begin this journey into becoming a teacher; for which I have no regrets. I received my Bachelors of Education in 1996 from Florida Memorial College.

Later, I relocated with my daughter to Savannah Georgia in 1999. I was employed with the Savannah Chatham Public School System until my retirement in December 2015. In 2002 I received my Masters of Education from Cambridge College and in 2003 received my Specialist of Education form NOVA Southeastern University.

The next chapter in my life geared me into becoming a at home childcare provider. My passion and love for the development of our children allowed me to continue doing what I enjoy.  The importance of cognitive development which includes how a child learns, think and problem solve are necessary in the early developmental years of life. Having the extensive background in education allows me the expertise and knowledge needed to develop these young minds.
